Effective August 9, 2026. This policy explains how Checkmate Trade handles information when you use checkmatetradingpro.com.
Information collected
We collect your email address, a one-way password hash, account plan, referral/source information, terms-acceptance time, AI research history and usage counts, support messages, security logs, and basic request information such as IP address. Stripe handles card information; Checkmate Trade does not store full card numbers.
How information is used
We use information to provide accounts and AI reports, enforce plan limits, process subscriptions, answer support requests, secure and troubleshoot the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Service providers
Information is shared only as needed with hosting, payment, AI, market-data, news, and security providers, or when required by law. We do not sell personal information. Third parties process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Security and retention
Sessions use secure HTTP-only cookies; passwords are hashed with bcrypt; sensitive server credentials are not delivered to browser code. No internet service can guarantee perfect security. We retain account and transaction-related information as needed to operate, secure, and comply with legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it when no longer necessary.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete account information, subject to legal and security limits. Use the contact form and select “Privacy request.” Paid subscriptions must also be canceled through Stripe’s billing portal.
Children and international use
The service is not intended for children under 18. If you use the service outside the United States, information may be processed in the United States.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the effective date when we do. Material changes may also be communicated through the service where practical.
